New Director appointed at DTW

Mon, 08 Sep 2008

Marketing expert, Hayley Stewart, has rejoined Guisborough-based PR agency DTW as a board director.

Hayley previously did a five year stint with the agency but left to help run a family business and undertake freelance consultancy, including some projects for DTW.

A University of Teesside marketing graduate, Hayley joins DTW’s board as the company aims to extend its reputation as one of the country’s leading specialist public sector communications agencies.

Hayley, 28, brings eight years’ experience in public and private sector marketing and an excellent track record of developing marketing strategies and delivering creative campaigns. At DTW she will work with a range of clients, specialising in education, children’s services, waste awareness and recycling.

During her time as a consultant for DTW, Hayley delivered a variety of projects, including developing and implementing North Tyneside Council’s Big Spring Clean campaign, which is currently shortlisted for a CIPR award, and several campaigns for north east councils to promote SureStart Children’s Centres.

Having worked closely with the agency and its clients, Hayley is very much looking forward to rejoining the team as a board member.

“I am very excited about coming back to DTW. The agency has a well-deserved reputation for its creative marketing and PR in both the public and private sector and I am delighted to be a part of this company’s future as a board director,” she said.

Peter Whelan, DTW Managing Director said: “We very much welcome Hayley back as a full-time member of the team and particularly as a director on the board. Her previous experience of the company and knowledge of clients will be a real asset to DTW.”
